Don't let all those television sitcoms fool you. Yes, women like romance—and we would like it if you drew our baths for us and showered us with flowers and gifts—but there are times when chivalry can go straight out the window. There are times when we just want hot, fast sex––no questions asked.
You may have heard that women don't like quickies––that's not true. We do like them, but the downside of quickies for many women is that we need more foreplay than you, and we don't always get physical pleasure from a hot-and-heavy five-minute romp. Sadly, women don't always climax from sex. So, if you're going to engage us in a quickie, you can't just make it about you; you need to pay attention to us. But we can speed up the process and get ourselves ready before we see you. And don't forget: You can always call us—on your way home—and get us in the mood, too.
The best part about a quickie is that it is pure passion––primal and unapologetic. It also allows you to mimic the type of sex you had earlier in your relationship, when you couldn't keep your hands off each other.
FAST TIPS ON QUICKIES
1. FOLLOW OUR CUES. We might not always be able to say "I want you now," but if we are rubbing up against you, it's a good sign.
2. DON'T BE AFRAID TO TOUCH. Seventy percent of women don't have orgasms from sexual intercourse alone, so don't forget to touch us, too. You know the spots; just follow our moans.
3. IF WE'RE NOT IN THE MOOD, TRY LATER. Don't be upset if we aren't in the mood for a quickie. Sex is as much mental as it is physical, and if we are too stressed to have sex, it's not your fault. We'll be ready again soon.
4. QUICKIES CAN REDUCE STRESS. Sex can elevate mood and lower stress––a quickie may actually energize you so that you can get back to your daily grind.
5. SEX CAN BE GOOD AROUND THE CLOCK. Some people like morning sex, others prefer nighttime sex, and some enjoy it in the afternoon. If you or your partner is an afternoon person, a quickie satisfies this craving—even if it's during the workday.
6. TAKE A CHANCE: GO PUBLIC. Quickies can be done anywhere and everywhere. They provide you with a great opportunity to explore fast sex in new, perhaps forbidden locations. The chance that you might get caught can often be the best turn-on possible. But be careful: Public indecency laws prevail almost everywhere.
A good relationship is about all types of sexual experiences. Sexual variety allows us to avoid the pitfalls of some relationships, where there is too much missionary position and not enough passion. Quickies can be a well-needed injection of excitement. You can always go back to bringing us flowers later. Tonight, how about a quickie?
